SSD #58 Tuesday Challenge

I am so excited about this card. I received my Nifty Fifties Cricut Cartridge today {smile} and could not wait to use it for this card. I had to surf the net to find a Tuesday challenge and found this site Skipping Stones Designs which hosts a Tuesday Challenge. I had a much better time with this card than I did with the last three I did this year. The materials used are all scraps. I was excited to find a pink piece of glitter paper in my scrap stash and it was big enough for the icecream on my shake. {oops I take some of that back...the red behind the shake wasn't from scraps}

I'm thinking that I'm going to send this to my Dad for his birthday. He is the reason why I even like the Fifties. Growing up my dad had {and still does have} classic cars. I used to go to the junk yard and swap meets to get parts for his restorations. Then of course the whole family would go to car shows. I really enjoyed those times!
