Saturday Sketch 136

To be honest, when I first saw this sketch I thought it was pretty plain. But once I actually made the card, I was really happy with it. It is really simple and well not real fancy. That doesn't mean it is not a good card. I actually think that I sometimes try to put too much into my cards.
I used Coredinations card stock for the background, triangle shadow and sentiment. The designer paper is Cosmo Cricket. I used the Easter {circle} and Bloom {flower} Cricut cartridges. The triangle and shadow were cut with my trimmer, the sentiment oval and scallop oval behind the sentiment are Fiskar punches.

Sketch Saturday #120

This is my second Saturday in a row using the Sketch Saturday blog for inspiration. I really wanted to use the From My Kitchen cartridge, since I haven't used it much since getting it. I've seen the apron cut used on others cards and decided it would go well with the paper collection I had choosen to use today.

I had fun working constructing this card this mornning/afternoo. Thanks for looking,

Valerie

Sketch Saturday #52

Wow I had fun. This is my first time participating in a sketch challenge. Well...any challage to be honest. I'm really new to all of this stuff from card making to blogging. I'm kinda getting hooked!
For my card I used Stampin up 2009 In Color cardstock, Twitterpated Collection designer paper and stamps, Stampin up Old Olive ribbon and Lowel Cornell water color pencils.
