Happy Birthday

Today I have a soccer themed birthday card to share. A co-worker needed a birthday card for her granddaughter. I went with the soccer themed because her granddaughter currently is on a soccer team. I used Everyday Paper Dolls for the girl, soccer net and soccer ball. I used Country Life for the sun and hill in the background. The inside I used a "Happy Birthday" stamp.

Male Happy Birthday

I have a few birthdays coming up for guys, so this card was made with that in mind. I scraplifted this idea from a project that was made by Donna Mundinger. Her project is actually a wall hanging that you can see HERE. I just love her work. Just like her, I used the Heritage cartridge for the tree and A Childs Year for the boy fishing. I added grass from Paper Dolls for Everyday. Where she used brads I used a brown marker to add dots to the tree and the boy. I inked the grass and added this Happy Birthday stamp.

Thank you to Donna for the inspiration. And thank everyone else for stopping by,
Valerie

John Deere Birthday

Today's post is not only really late but also a total scraplift. I needed a John Deere Card for a little boy birthday. I had recently seen a John Deere card at the Cricut Message board. You can see GlendaBoyd1's card HERE. I didn't use any pop dots this time since the card is going to a little boy.

Escape... Create A Critter Raccoon

Back to the Create A Critter Cartridge. I think I will probably continue using this cartridge until I get through all those adorable critters. The hardest thing I had to do with this card was decide on the sentiment. The "Escape" jumped out at me while I was searching through my stamps. It seemed appropriate.

Sorry the pictures are not the best today. I usually try to take my pictures in natural light but didn't have that option if I wanted to post this on time...

Thanks for coming over!

Bridal Shower #1

Here is one of the cards I was asked to make for a girl at work. She had a two bridal showers to attend in the same weekend. She said she would really likes my cards and would rather pay me than Hallmark. I'm so glad she has given me an excuse to go hide in my craftroom.

For this card I used the following:
Sweathearts Cricut Cartridge: Birds in nest
Songbird Cricut Cartridge: Labels (behind birds)
Home Accents Cricut Cartridge: Swirl
Paper Dolls for Everyday: Umbrella
Martha Stewart: Around the page punch
Stampin' Up: Boho stamp and punch
Thanks for Looking,
Valerie

I was asked by a coworker to make card to give to her sister at her bridal shower. The bridal party colors are Green, White and Black. {The whole family went to Michigan State...Colors Green and White...I should have known those would be the bridal colors}

I used a DCWV paper pack and the following Cricut Cartridges with my Gypsy:

Paper Dolls for Everyday: Umbrella

Winter Woodland: For The Bride

Sweethearts: Bouquet

A Childs Year: Scalloped background.
