Wedding Congratulations

This card is for the Executive Operations Manager at work. He recently got married and didn't tell half the office...typical male {lol}. So we {my co-workers and I} decided we would give him a card anyway. I used Sweethearts for the wedding bells and Lacy Labels for the circles. The sentiment is from the Congrats Stampin' Up set. The inside says "Welcome to the wedded bliss club".

Thank you for stopping by,

Mojo Monday #181 Take 2

Ok...so I don't usually use the same sketch two days in a row, but I liked this weeks sketch and I wasn't 100% happy with yesterdays card. So here is take #2. I decided to use some brighter colors for this one. I used Lacy Labels for the circles again {just like yesterday}. But instead of using the swirly thing from Home Decor, I decided to use these leafy things from Home Accents. The butterflys are from a Martha Stewart punch. I added some faux stitching and a sentiment from a Stampin' Up set I have. I am much happier with this card. I hope you like.

Mojo Monday #181 - March Contest

So this weeks Mojo Monday sketch is another contest...if only I could win {sad face}. But I don't think this is one of my best cards. I wish I would not have tried to really stitch this card. It just didn't turn out as nice as I was hoping. Otherwise I am happy with it. The designer paper is from Cosmo Cricket. I used Lacy Labels for the scallop and regular circles. Home Decor for the swirly things {I've used that cut on three of my last 4 cards}. I used my Stampin' Up Boho punch with the One of a Kind stamp set for the flowers. The sentiment is also Stampin' Up. I used some old pinking shears for the the brown background paper.

Mojo Monday 173

So here is my take on this weeks Mojo Monday. I found these cute candy hearts in my stash. They are actually buttons, which I had to cut off the back so they could lay flat. The paper is from my scrap stash...I have so much scraps, I could make dozens and dozens of cards from them. The ribbon is from the $1.00 bin at Micheal's a couple years ago {I had to turn it over and use the back because the front had flowers on it}.

Thinking of You

Another card for a co-worker. It really makes me happy that when my co-workers need cards they come to me. As one girl told me, "I'd rather pay you than Halmark". This was a simple card. The designer paper is from Cosmo Cricut. The stamp is from Stampin' Up. Finally I used Lacy Labels for the focal point. I added stickles to the label.

Mojo Monday 172

I'm having troubles with sketches this week. I don't know why??? I like the end results, but getting there is taking longer than usual. So I've done Saturday, Sunday and Monday sketches. Maybe I can find a Tuesday challange somewhere. Anyone know of one? Well if not I know of another site that has a differnt Saturday challange.

I decided to finally use one of my Cuttlebug folders. I have at 20 of them and very rarely use them. This one is part of a Cricut Companion set {ok I'm not in my craft room at the moment so I don't know which one.} All of the papers used are Core dinations. The dark blue label is from the Lacy Label cartridge and the flower is from the Pagoda cartridge.

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challange 98

I have not posted in a few months {sad face}. Last year I believe I made a New Years Resolution to post everyday. Well my life has proven that I am not able to do that at this time in my life...But I am going to make a new Resolution that I will post at least once a week.

So for Post #1 of 2011 I choose to use this sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challange. I just loved the sample that Karen Giron made from her sketch...You can see her beautifl sample at this LINK and the her sketch is below.

I will be posting some of my other creations in the next week. I am not sure how much I've done since my last post. I will have to go back and look.

I hope you are all having a great start to the New Year.
