Gift card holders

Quick post today. I made these gift card holders for my Neice and someday {maybe} neices. All the card stock is Core dinations from JoAnns and designer paper is something I picked up on clearence at Michael's last year. I used MS border punches and Recolections stamps from Michael's . The snowflake on the green one is from the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge.

Just for Girls Sketch Challange

So I stumbled across this blog called "Just Us Girls" Challange. So I designed my card on Monday and cut and assemble it on Tuesday. I Love how it turned out. I had used my Winter Woodland Cartridge the other day for another challange and really wanted to use it again. This is the first time I used one of the buildings. I'm so glad I used it on this card. I realize the bird is a little big proportionately to the house...well it's only a card (lol).

I had fun designing this one on my Gypsy. Thanks for looking!

Winter Wonderland - Santa Slackers Challange

Over on the Cricut Message Board Daveshunny and JoySikes are having the Santa Slackers Challange. (Click here to go to the challange) The challange is to make a Christmas card using the Winter Woodland cartridge and Card Patterns Sketch 77. It was also supposed to be a 5.5" square card. Well I made mine an A2 (4.25 x 5.5) because I don't really make square cards very often.

For my card I only used the Winter Woodland for the words "Winter Wonderland". I used Christmas Noel solutions cartridge for the Ribbon/ivy/tag thing (sorry don't know what else I should call it...lol) and the snow flakes. This ribbon I used is brown felt with the stiching already on it. It was actually clearenced with Valentine ribbons at Michael's back in February/March. This is the first time I used it even though I really, really like it. I punched a tiny hole in snow flakes so i could attach to the ribbon with these tiny, tiny brads.

I really love how this card turned out. I think I may just make a few more of them and send out to my favorite family members this year. Shh...don't tell 'em.

Thanks for poppin' over,
Valerie

Bridal Shower Card

I was asked by a coworker to make card to give to her sister at her bridal shower. The bridal party colors are Green, White and Black. {The whole family went to Michigan State...Colors Green and White...I should have known those would be the bridal colors}

I used a DCWV paper pack and the following Cricut Cartridges with my Gypsy:

Paper Dolls for Everyday: Umbrella

Winter Woodland: For The Bride

Sweethearts: Bouquet

A Childs Year: Scalloped background.

I've been busy this weekend

I needed to make some more christmas cards. So that is all I worked on this weekend. I made 6 cards on Saturday. This actually is really productive for me. Isn't that sad?

Here is the first (and second) card I made this weekend. I used Snow Friends for the snowman of coarse. Then used Winter Woodland for the "Brrrr". I made two of this card. The only variance is that the second one I used pop-dots for the bird. So I only took pictures of this one.

The third and fourth card. I used Joys of the Season for the Ornament and Winter Woodland for the Seasons Greetings. Both cards are basically the same. I just use different papers from the same collection.

The final two cards are the same... For some reason I made everything in duplicate on Saturday. This one is all from Winter Woodland. I almost didn't buy this cart. Glad I did, I used it all weekend. I just love that little bunny.
