I bought this stamp quite a while ago and had not used it yet for a card. I wanted a somewhat simple card so I decided to use this stamp. I first stamped this adorable Moose on white card stock and used my Nestability die but when I put it on the card front it was just not right. So I cut out the moose out of the white paper and mounted it on the green paper. I finished it with Frosted Lace Stickles.

Hang in There
When I started out making this card I wasn't sure where I was going with it. I really wanted to use the clothes line cut from Country Life. So starting with my base I choose this green print that reminds me of grass, then I wanted to mat that to a bright color to make it stand out. Using red as the backgroud mat I think was a really good choice. The jeans just had to be blue (duh!) and what better color for a bra and panties than pink?? Once I was done and put the clothes line on the base I was stumped at first on what sentiment to use. My first idea was "How's it Hangin?" but decided that just wasn't the right fit for me. So as you can see, it ended up being "Hang in There".

Season's Greetings
I fell in love with snow man when I received my Cheerful Seasons circut cartridge. I mean how many different snowmen could there be right? It seems like more than I ever would have thought. I don't even know why this one is my fav...lol. I went with a simple design for this card.
Happy Day!!!

Decoration for Co-worker
Just a little something for a co-worker. She wanted something small and simple to decorate her monitor. She was going to cut out some black and white pictures of pumpkins. So I told her I would make her some. There was actually 5 pumpkins in total plus the scarecrow. She just loved them.

Thank You
Here is a simple Thank You card I made for one of the owners of our company. He recently treated us all out to lunch. He's not the type of guy you would give a card that was anything remotely feminine so I tried to make this as masculine as possible. This is my first project using my new Creative Memories Reminisce Cartridge.

Black & White Wedding #2
So here is the second black and white wedding card I recently made. For this one I pulled out a stamp I had purchased a while ago. If I remember correctly, it was actually a birthday stamp. But I taped over the sentiment, inked up the whole stamp up and then pulled the tape off before stamping the image on paper. I played with the idea of coloring the butterfuly, but in the end as you can see I decided to leave it all black. I only used a little cricut for the frame around the stamped image. Inside I used a Martha Stewart cornor punch.

Black & White Wedding card #1
I was asked by two co-workers to make wedding cards for them. Both of them wanted black and white cards. I am telling you that I had the hardest time coming up with idea's. I don't know exactly why the black and white gave me such fits. But in the end I was happy with the outcome.

Gardener Birthday
So while going through my stamps the other weekend, I found this wonderful stamp that I probably bought 5 years ago and have never used. Well I work with a woman who is an avid gardener and boy does this stamp fit her. So her birthday was last week so I had to make a birthday card using this stamp. As an accent I used my new Cheerful Seasons for the boot. I also used my new Cuttlebug Folder and finished it with Happy birthday cut from Stamping Solutions cartridge.

Cheerful Seasons Happy Birthday
Wow...it has been a long time since I posted. It all started with a weekend that I didn't feel so well and I tell you the last month just went down hill from there. But I'm back for now. Since my last post I was able to acquire some new cartridges. My boss suprised us (everyone in our office...about 20 people) with a bonus $100!!! Wow were we suprised. So I purchased 4 new cartridges although I did spent just a tad over the $100. I purchased both of the Creative Memories Cartridges: Cheerful Seasons and Reminisce Accents, Country Life and Old West.
Today I had a birthday card to make for my niece Victoria. I started with the base and added the brown layer. I tend to use a lot of brown (not exactly sure why...lol). I really liked a sketch that I used a while ago so I put the teal at the bottom, thenf I looked through my ribbons for something to match. I found this wonderful stripped ribbon and added this. Yellow for the top seemed like the prefect choice. Lastly I choose this flower from Cheerful Season.
I am hoping to get some more posting over the next week. I actually have some cards I've made over the last month to share with you.
