Wedding Congratulations

This card is for the Executive Operations Manager at work. He recently got married and didn't tell half the office...typical male {lol}. So we {my co-workers and I} decided we would give him a card anyway. I used Sweethearts for the wedding bells and Lacy Labels for the circles. The sentiment is from the Congrats Stampin' Up set. The inside says "Welcome to the wedded bliss club".

Thank you for stopping by,
Valerie

Black & White Wedding #2

So here is the second black and white wedding card I recently made. For this one I pulled out a stamp I had purchased a while ago. If I remember correctly, it was actually a birthday stamp. But I taped over the sentiment, inked up the whole stamp up and then pulled the tape off before stamping the image on paper. I played with the idea of coloring the butterfuly, but in the end as you can see I decided to leave it all black. I only used a little cricut for the frame around the stamped image. Inside I used a Martha Stewart cornor punch.

Thanks for looking,
Valerie

Playing Catch-up

I know it has been a long time since I posted last, with the exception of yesterday. I've had lots of family issues to deal with. But I've been making cards even though I haven't posted them. I've actually been making cards to sell. A girl at work has had me make her 5 cards over the last few months. Most of them have been some type of wedding related. If it wouldn't have been for her asking me to make cards, I don't know how much time I would have actually spent in the craftroom. I just haven't been in much of a crafty mood with everything else going on.
Well, I am really proud of this card I am going to share with you today. It was actually quite easy to make even though it doesn't look it. It is funny that I started my crafting life sewing but had never used my sewing machine on any of my cards. This is the first time I have done so.
For this card I used:
Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge: Wedding Dress
Cosmo Cricket: Designer paper "Girl Friday & Everafter" Double Deck
Martha Stewart: Lacey edge punch
Spare Parts: Pearls

Wedding card Scraplift...

I actually made this quite a while ago...I totally scraplifted it. I just wish I could find who I scraplifted it from. Whoever you are THANK YOU. I can't even find a picture of the original. A girl at work is getting married and I found this in my stash. The bottom right frame did not have anything in it so cut the wedding bells. Then I added pearls to the front of the card. I think the original also had pearls...

I used Stampin' Up cardstock and the following Cricut Cartridges:

Sweethearts: Weeding bells
Wild Card: Bride and Groom
Storybook: Frames

I also used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder and a stamp

Thank you for looking.
